Does God Work in Mysterious Ways? I Believe He Does.My last letter to my nephew was a suggestion to him to not rely on canned spiritual spam but speak of his own personal love for God Yo Bro, It is a good spiritual exercise to think of God, Christ, the Holy Spirit and let your own wonderful feeling you should have inside out and share them. This is a experience of finding your love for God as a personal experience. What is in the Bible is one thing and it should activate the realization of what is in you in regard to your relationship with God. The Bible has stories of good people but also show the sins of some. In the same way that God has inspiredthe prophets of the past to speak in wisdom, He also inspires people of the present to bear His message of love. You can hear him speak in the good news sermons of your own minister or as as I hear him in the sermons of good priests and in the words of a Hindu Doctor friend I am doing a meditation painting for. God is here Bob, not just in the words of the Bible. God is here in real life. He is in you too. Use your creativity to honor Him. The last few month I have been working on with Joy on My Angel song, You can be an Angel and the past month has found me on a spiritual high focused on my Little flower Song, " Welcome Jesus In." I will meditate on the words and melody, Making minor changes on my evening recording session. I will listen to it on a small player in bed before I drift off to sleep. I wake up at 4:30 AM and will listen to it before I start off my day and during the day and find my self dancing through my chores. I have a cd with 7 different recording of it on, 3 or 4 versions of my song You can be an angel. A welcome Jesus in chant with only four words, Welcome Jesus in; over and over with a instrumental background. Hello Mr. Sunshine which sings about the sun that shines after the storms and floods that America has experienced and compare the The Son of God with the sun that rises out of the East ending the rain storms and floods. I also have a very positive song about the beauty of America , When we come together. out of the many one and a couple of versions of my Wave maker songs. These are all songs that I have written in 2008 after I closed My Gallery in Jan. 2008. I had another song on it called the world beyond your door . The song dealt with closing my gallery and possibly leaving the area and even losing my home. To be honest I even wondered if I might die as a result of the Staph infection from CHOMP. In my process of seeking and speaking the truth while directing my energies toward using Religion and prayers to bring peace in the world. I did what I knew could create problems for my business. They say you should not bring Religion or politics into the business place. I believe you can have the positive spirit of Religion in the work place. But you should not banter Religion about for profit motivation as a selling point. I have given thousands of my spiritual songs cds free for years.There are some Christians who will mistakenly say I am not accepting the Bible by My Emphasis on Christ and his message of love in the New Testament and how problems are created in the world by emphasis on interpretations of the old Testament of what lesser individuals have said. I told a number of Bible experts when justifying war or their angst at homosexuals using Quotes from the Old Testament for explaining their feelings. I will suggest to them if they hold that portion of the Bible as sacred than should place more importance to the Ten Commandments as direct words from God to Moses and his people , which in this case were the Jews traveling across the desert. The commands of God's Big Ten should trump them all when it comes time to show your hand.. If you believe in God, no words of any prophet can over ride them. If you believe in Christ, Then you must hold with reverence and respect, the clarity of Christ's wordsand truth that do not require the vain efforts of interpretations. Christ had Two commands that he gave us while on earth. Ask yourMinister,. Priest or Religious instructor . "What was were those commands? When they give you that answer, Then obey Christ's commands. what were those Two commands? The old Testament is a wonderful history of the Jewish people, Of their achievements and down falls. It prepared the way for the coming of Christ. Wake up to the New Testament! Christ came! God gave up His Holy Son as a sacrifice for the Sins documented in the Old Testament. Christ's life was a reality and an example to follow. Unfortunately even today people will suffer at the hands of those who had the same motivations of the people behind the Crucifixion of Christ . You will see persecution of many different Religion through out the world From Tibetan Monks to Christians, Jews, and Moslems, Even in India, home of the oldest tolerant major Religion, Hinduism who believe in one God ( though He maytake form of different entities) which which dates back to 1250 BC have problems as politics have entered the picture. Politics at times is predicated on greed. They attempt to control by power. They will interject by force and intimidation their presence in your life on a National Level, in the same way they do it in foreign countries for what they deem as their well being. All too often it is for the well being of those in power, who crave more power and their own financial solvency. They will misuse Religion for their own purpose of control of voting. Much of it is about wealth, theirs. My own feeling are you should not allow political parties or terrorists to misuse Religion. The same goes for businessmen. I once wrote a satirical song WWJD. It had a line about fish on the back of cars. It was not about coming down on Christians. It was about misuse of Religion for commercial and political purposes. I have a picture of my Studio on my business card and I have a large cross in a large picture window in the direction I see when I paint or write my songs. That is about my focus in life. I have a feeling I am doing what God would have me do. I always have seen my needs met and sometime feel like the 27 and 22nd Psalms has borne witness in mylife. I do not wish harm to anyone but I have seen strange things happen to people who may not have my best interest and my spiritual goals at heart. The last one dealt with what happened to a man when I had my son read the 27 and 22nd Psalm to me as I was driving him to see his Counselor . Some one from the Gideon Society had just given him a New Testament Bible on the street that had the Psalms in. I told him I really like the Psalms and was very fond of one in particular. It was the 23d but at my age 72, I could not remember the number. As he read the Psalm in the car to me while I was driving, I told him They were not the one I was looking for but they fit me to a T. I continued searching the psalms for my favorite while he was in for his appointment. I shared with Him how what I regard as warnings befell people who raised questions as to why they were in my life and what they were doing. . So I kind of go through life with no fear. When you lead a loving God directed life you put your trust in His hands. John went to his appointment and I searched through the Bible for my favorite Psalm which I found. It was the 23d. The next day I was shocked by what was on the first page of the Monterey Herald. An individual whom I knew, committed suicide. It was my gallery landlord who had me served with a summons that could have created more stress and health problems for me. He committed suicide at approximately the same time my son Jonathan and I were sharing the 22nd and 27th Psalms. I wished it did not happen. Too many Fathers go at too early an age and leave children behind. We Focus on well known people like Tony Snow and Tim Russert but we pay little heed to all the soldiers who die and some never even seen their children. This man had caring qualities. I believe it may have been possible That some one did not keep him informed of my prior requests to bareter for my rent when I was ill and disabled until I rcovered which was $2500 a month. I had paid close to $One million in rent over the years and regarded my self as a friend of his family and even shared Lourdes Water with Hisd Sister who had Cancer and I believed survied. He may have been encouraged by some one, the powers that reign, to serve me the summons. After my Carmel experiences that I wrote and since removed from my home page nothing would surprise me. I wondered about the timing of the summons being served time. It was the morning The Carmel
Pine Cone interviewed me for astory about my suite against the CHOMP , a local hospital. I requested a draft
before printing and put the rebuttal on my home page before it was printed. I sent him a rebuttal that I put on my
home page that night.It nipped their inaccuracy in the bud and they never printed it. I told the reporter even though
I was in financial duress it, the summon which was for a $ 17, 000 debt incurred did not bother me. I called the
man and told him his summons was cruel after paying around $ 875, 000 in rent over the years his refusal to do a
little bartering with me for $ 5000 at first and more after that for at the time I had contracted MSRA Staph
( which killed more people than Aids last year.) at the hospital while being treated for heel ulcer problem they created for me after hip replacement. I had a modest settlement with the hospital that would not cover debts incurred and came close to representing myself as during mediation pressure was put on me by my lawyer to come up with money I did not have for deposition and the mediator a former judge and my lawyer said I would get less after expenses then the amount then CHOMP offered me. I am really not into frivolous sueing but that was travesty of not having equal justice. I represented myself when I was kid in my late teens or eatrly twenties when I tried to stop a fight that some of my friends started with some plainclothes Policemen. I was as usual the poor guy who could not afford a lawyer and I was the only one who was charged with an offense. It got in the way of me being a policeman as I like to look out for people. The only college credits I have is 3 credits in police administration and 1 & 1/2 for a lamaze birthing class.They may have done me a big favor.
Saturday, September20th, I received a letter from their lawyer. I thought I may have forgotten the court date. I expected a dire consequence when I opened the envelope. I had to ask my son, Eric to explain it to me. It was a dismissal of their case against me. It felt strange to see the name at the end of the letter was the name of the man who committed suicide. I always liked him. I went to the Carmel Post Office, to check my mail, as I had been unable to for a while. I met a lady, who is a member of a religious order. I told her of the dismissal of the case. I discussed what I wrote about in 'Does God operate in Mysterious ways'. She expressed her opinion, at the time, that she felt bad about Ted's demise. She said she feared he was in hell. I told her she was wrong. "I think He is in Heaven." He was a kind caring man and did good in his life. He had a Bi-polar problem. And was not morally accountable. She said "I will think more kindly of him. Thank you George." I feel relieved by what I reguard as an act of kindness by the family as I have always liked them. In some ways I felt a two way bond of affection and caring for them and from them. Should you accept a bribe or pay for services rendered, you are left tangled in a web of deceit You then can become slaves of those who rewarded you. You may experience fear of being revealed for your own weakness of the moment. Be honest in the first place. If you err, don't compound your mistakes. Change your ways! They stand more to lose than you do. Sometime by doing little things for financial gain that you may rationalize and regard as a little fib, not a lie. If your statement is untrue you can have major lasting consequences. I honestly believe one of the reasons why Killing Staph infections are most prevalent in Hospitals is because of their denial of the problem and their effort to place the blame elsewhere. They may present it to others in the medical field in an effort to seek their cooperation in placing blame else is to prevent law suites against them In reality it was more about their concern of having patients go elsewhere. It is more about losing money then the concern they should have about patients losing lives. Some day out of necessity there will be a law where problems with Staph infections in hospitals, will be public record. When that happens they will fix it. All Americans will have a new sense of security when they require hospital care. Everybody will be better off.. The Pine Cone did write about Bill Bates Carmel's Political cartoonist of National renown, uncomplicated Stint heart operation at CHOMP's wonderful New Heart Care center with new latest equipment that left him in a coma with a staph infection in intensive care. Unfortunately Bill did not survive after the operation at CHOMP . MSRA Staph is primarily acquired at hospital and nursing homes. People go into hospitals with one problem and die with MSRA Staph and other infections.Hospitals at times put profits before responsibility. They will go into denial such as the presumptive MRSA report on my leg wound culture though the the test was positive. They will send you and your problems to another physician if possible to end their involvement even though they were the reason for the cause.. They will pay doctors to shift the evidence of blame else where. The front page story that my gallery landlord, who had the summons issued commit suicide at approximately the same time I was sharing Psalms with my son had me call to mind a number of happenings that I never saw a connection with before in addition to those who I wondered about before. You may have heard , God operates in Mysterious Ways. It's not a mystery at all. If you love God, He will care for you and when it's your time to go He will welcome you with open Arms.
